Haldimand Norfolk Mobile Welding Terms and Conditions

The following Terms and Conditions govern all services provided by Haldimand Norfolk Mobile Welding (“the Company”). By requesting services, approving a quote, or allowing work to proceed, the customer (“Client”) agrees to these Terms and Conditions.

Acceptance

Acceptance of services—whether by verbal approval, written confirmation, electronic communication, or permitting work to begin—constitutes the Client’s full acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

Scope of Work & Estimates

All work is performed based on information provided by the Client at the time of booking. Time estimates are approximate unless a fixed quote is provided in writing.

The Company reserves the right to revise pricing or scope due to unforeseen conditions, including but not limited to hidden damage, corrosion, improper prior repairs, material condition, access limitations, or site safety concerns.

Rates & Billing

For on-site general mobile welding services, rates start at $395- This covers the initial call out fee, as well as the first 2 hours of work. Each hour after is charge at a rate of $135 per hour. Materials may be billed separately.

Billing includes setup and cleanup time.

Materials, consumables, travel time, specialty equipment, disposal fees, and additional labour may be billed separately unless otherwise stated.

After-hours, emergency, or rush services may be billed at an increased rate.

Payment Terms

Payment is due upon completion of work, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Accepted payment methods include: Interac e-transfer to info@hnwelding.ca, Debit card, Credit card (subject to a 3% processing fee) Ownership of materials and completed work remains with Haldimand Norfolk Mobile Welding until payment is received in full.

Unpaid invoices may be subject to late fees, as well as a 1.75% interest (21% Yearly), compounded monthly, and recovery or collection costs.

Customer Responsibilities & Site Conditions

The Client is responsible for: Providing accurate job details. Ensuring safe, clear, and accessible work areas. Removing all flammable or hazardous materials prior to work commencing Welding, cutting, and grinding generate heat, sparks, and fumes. The Company assumes no responsibility for damage caused by pre-existing corrosion, hidden defects, unsuitable base materials, or conditions beyond its control.

The Company reserves the right to refuse or stop work if unsafe conditions are identified.

Warranty

Haldimand Norfolk Mobile Welding warrants workmanship only.

Warranty Coverage:

Interior work: 9-month warranty from date of completion. Exterior work: 6-month warranty from date of completion.Warranty covers defects in workmanship only and, at the discretion of the Company, includes repair or replacement of affected welds or components. Warranty does not cover misuse, impact damage, corrosion, environmental exposure, lack of maintenance, or unauthorized modification.

No Warranty on Third-Party Processes

The Company does not warranty any third-party or subcontracted processes, including but not limited to:

Sandblasting,Powder coating,Painting,Galvanizing,Anodizing,Plating or coating services.Failures related to adhesion, finish quality, colour variation, corrosion, or coating performance are the responsibility of the third-party provider.

Material & Environmental Limitations

The Company is not liable for:

Natural patina variation,Oxidation, rust, or weathering. Discolouration inherent to steel or weathering materials. Impact damage or misuse. Modifications performed by others. Material movement due to temperature or humidity changes. Improper installation by others

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, liability for any claim related to services provided is limited to the amount invoiced for the specific job.

Acceptance

By requesting service or allowing work to proceed, the Client confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
